A common request from those who love their travel loom sets is more of these wooden bobbins or spools. You can now purchase these travel sized loom bobbins in packs of 3. They are the same bobbins that come with the Tree Loom Kit or the Travel Loom Kit.

The 3 1/4" length bobbins are the ones that come in the loom kits and are wonderful for yarn. Pictured by the ruler.

The 2 3/4" length bobbins are smaller than the ones in the kits but is still handy for string or smaller amounts of yarn.

Bobbins are 1/8" thick Bobbins are made out of Birch or Basswood plywood and may vary in appearance Bobbins come without yarn or string on them Bobbins come in 3 packs These are made in Minnesota, USA

We first started making looms when our eldest son took an interest in weaving but was uninterested in many of the kits because they were very targeted towards girls. Thus we made our first frame loom. He loved it and we started offering it on our etsy page in case others were interested. Since then we've been revising and adding to our weaving tool selection.

For those wondering our then 9 year old son really enjoyed weaving and would make little coasters, pillows for stuffed animals and guinea pig blankets.

As for us our kits have evolved over the years with the feedback of artists and weaving guild members who have helped us refine and add items to our inventory.

Just what I wanted

These are perfect for holding yarn for tapestry weaving: they prevent tangles, and have a good locking method to keep them from unwinding
