Historical Leather Bookmark Details

  • Length: Just over 7''
  • Thickness: thin, this bookmark is cut from pretty thin leather. The leather is still able to stand up to use and abuse but is thin by choice for those who read delicate books that might not handle the abuse of a thicker bookmark. You can see from my picture that it is the thinner variety of bookmark and bends very nicely.
  • Back is unfinished: so it has a nice soft/rough sort of texture that won't damage your pages but will help keep place

Each bookmark is made in house from hand selected veggie tanned cow leather. The back is unfinished leather with the grain from the leather visible. See the photos above to see what that looks like. 


This is a historical bookmark, meaning the illustration is adapted from a book that is over 100 years old. By adapting old and largely forgotten art it gives the work new life to be appreciated once more for years to come.
