This unusual bookmark is engraved with the antique art of a European bridge city on it. The concept may seem strange to Americans but in Europe cities forming on bridges was not uncommon. This historical collection bookmark is crafted from hand selected leather which is both durable and flexible / thin enough not to damage delicate bindings.

  • Design: Back of leather is unfinished and shows leather grain
  • Thickness: Each bookmark is made out of 2-3oz leather for a thin but robust bookmark
  • Design: European Bridge City
  • Width: ~1 ¾” (45mm)
  • Length: ~6 ½” (167.5mm)
  • Made in Minnesota, USA

Each bookmark is made in house from hand selected veggie tanned cow leather. The back is unfinished leather with the grain from the leather visible. See the photos above to see what that looks like. 


This is a historical bookmark, meaning the illustration is adapted from a book that is over 100 years old. By adapting old and largely forgotten art it gives the work new life to be appreciated once more for years to come.
