This leather bookmark is engraved with the art of a mythical manticore on it. The leather itself is hand selected and thin so it won’t damage older book bindings. The manticore art is engraved into the leather, so it won’t peel off and is designed to last for years of reading adventures.

Each bookmark is made in house from hand selected veggie tanned cow leather. The back is unfinished leather with the grain from the leather visible. See the photos above to see what that looks like. 

This is a historical bookmark, meaning the illustration is adapted from a book that is over 100 years old. By adapting old and largely forgotten art it gives the work new life to be appreciated once more for years to come.
