This leather bookmark is engraved with the art of a Dogue De Bordeaux, also known as a Frenc Mastiff, on it.  We make every bookmark in house ourselves out of hand selected veggie tan cow leather (so the good stuff). The leather itself is thin enough to not damage the bindings of older books but is able to maintain its shape and has the natural texture of the leather on the back.

Each bookmark is made in house from hand selected veggie tanned cow leather. The back is unfinished leather with the grain from the leather visible. See the photos above to see what that looks like. 


This is a historical bookmark, meaning the illustration is adapted from a book that is over 100 years old. By adapting old and largely forgotten art it gives the work new life to be appreciated once more for years to come.
