This stunning bookmark features a historical illustration similar to the Art Nouveau style of a Roman or Greek woman's profile surrounded by flower blossoms. The historical illustration featured was scanned from a book that is over 100 years old and adapted before being engraved on veggie tan leather. Historical illustrations are a passion of mine and it feels very satisfying to think that by adapting old and forgotten art the piece of work can live on in a new medium. This leather bookmark if flexible and durable making it not only a memorable gift but one that will be around for years if not decades to come.
