This charming bookmark features a historical illustration of a genet engraved onto leather. This cow leather is thicker than my normal bookmarks but works wonderfully as a bookmark still. It is rigid enough to keep its shape and the leather can stand up to a good deal of a abuse. Genets are a smaller carnivore from Africa, with a beautiful spotted coat and sleek body. These animals are very cat like and it is hard to imagine why they aren't more popular!
